Privacy Policy
Effective July 16, 2026
LimitLens is built so there is almost nothing to have a privacy policy about. The app runs entirely on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your API keys or your usage data. This policy explains exactly what is stored, where it lives, and what leaves your iPhone.
Who we are
LimitLens is a product of Resolve (“Resolve,” “we,” “us”). LimitLens is an iOS application that displays the remaining balance and usage of AI API accounts you choose to connect. You can reach us at hello@resolveconcierge.com.
The short version
- We do not run a server that collects your personal data.
- Your API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and, if you enable iCloud Keychain, in your own iCloud account. They are never sent to us.
- When LimitLens checks a balance, your device talks directly to the provider you connected over HTTPS. That request does not pass through us.
- No account or sign-up is required to use the app.
What is stored, and where
API keys. Each key you add is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. If you have iCloud Keychain enabled, iOS may sync it to your other Apple devices and preserve it across a reinstall. Apple manages that storage; we never receive the keys.
App settings and cached values. Your provider list, display preferences, and the most recent balance each provider returned are stored locally on the device so widgets can render without re-fetching. This data stays on the device.
Purchase status. Whether you own Lifetime Pro is determined by your App Store purchase. See “Purchases” below.
What leaves your device
The only network requests LimitLens makes on your behalf are direct HTTPS calls from your device to the AI providers you connected — OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, or xAI — to read the balance or usage for the key you provided. Those requests include the API key you entered, because the provider requires it to return your data. They go to the provider, not to us.
We do not operate an analytics server that receives your usage data, your keys, or a device profile. LimitLens does not sell or share personal information, and it does not use your data for advertising.
Analytics and diagnostics
LimitLens does not include a third-party analytics SDK that transmits your usage to us. If you choose to share crash diagnostics with the developer through Apple’s standard system prompt, Apple provides those reports in aggregated, developer-facing form under Apple’s privacy terms. You can turn this off in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. If a future version adds any opt-in analytics, we will update this policy and ask before enabling it.
Third parties
Because the app runs on your device, the third parties involved are the ones you already have a relationship with:
- The AI providers you connect. Your device sends your key directly to them to read your balance. Their handling of that request is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
- Apple. Provides the App Store, the Keychain, iCloud Keychain sync, and purchase processing. Apple’s privacy policy applies to those services.
- RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat to validate and restore in-app purchases. RevenueCat may receive a non-identifying, app-generated identifier and your purchase/subscription status to confirm entitlements. It does not receive your API keys or usage data. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy for details.
Purchases
Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. Apple handles payment and does not share your full payment details with us. We use RevenueCat to confirm and restore your entitlement across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. No purchase requires you to create an account with us.
Children
LimitLens is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. It is a utility intended for people who hold their own AI API accounts, which typically requires being of age to contract with those providers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app collects no personal information on a server from anyone.
Your control over your data
Because your data lives on your device, you control it directly. Remove a provider inside the app to delete its stored key and cached values from the Keychain and local storage. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device; if iCloud Keychain synced a key, you can remove it from your Apple Account’s keychain in iOS Settings.
Changes to this policy
If we change how LimitLens handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes that expand what leaves your device will be disclosed clearly in the app.
